I have half a mind to buy the book for it's humor content.

6. Hate the book, but don't hate its availability

Just like free speech. What good is free speech if we only tolerate the speech we like?

As for this book (which I am prejudging, because I obviously can't read it yet), I say it's better to have that kind of thought out in the open, so we can be familiar with it and defeat it with better thinking and pungent criticism.

7. I won't shop at Amazon because they sometimes advertise...

on Glenn Beck's website. This is the Right-wing radio "personality" who discussed killing Michael Moore on the air.

I sent an E-mail complaining to them about it, and they ignored me.

By the way, DirectTV stopped advertising on his show because of this little skit. Kudos to DirectTV!

11. As a consumer, it is your right to choose where you spend your

money. As a lesbian myself, the fact that Amazon is selling this book would not dissuade me from making purchases from them. Its a despicable book, yes, and if Amazon ONLY sold books that trashed us, I would concur with you, but they sell all books, not just politically or ideologically motivated books.
Besides, I have purchased some good Bush Bashing books from Amazon.
Anyone who sells Bush Bashing Books can't be all bad.

I think I'd be more upset with Amazon for NOT selling something instead of what they DO sell.
