Protesters plan to picket a Jackson pastor summit preaching family values, which a critic claims are code words for intolerance and hate toward gays.

On Monday, Greater Bible Way Temple will host the interdenominational gathering that is expected to draw about 100 clergy from Michigan and Indiana, and will feature guest speaker the Rev. Louis Sheldon, chairman of Traditional Values Coalition. The overall topic is "The Homosexual Agenda."

Chuck Meade of Jackson plans a peaceful protest from 8:15 to 9 a.m. outside the church at 322 Madison St. Meade, who is bisexual, has enlisted six clergy members to join him and hopes other citizens will, too. The summit is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

In other words, we aren't bashing anyone... we just want to make sure that we keep them oppressed and relegated to second-class citizenship, and we want to keep the sodomy laws around so that we can arrest them anytime they get uppity.

Fuck them and their "standards of decency!" I have more decency than the whole lot of them.
