Anyone see the 16th annual GLAAD awards?

Watched it today on Logo. Finally had something to give me a warm feeling inside.

1. I volunteered at the event at Fort Mason, San Francisco.

Was that the one that was shown? Even if it wasn't, I had a great there. The award that gave me chills was Outstanding Advertising - Electronic: "Bouncer" United Church of Christ .

The Rev. Toni Dunbar's speech was beautiful, eloquent. Her speech ended with "Listen: God isn't finished speaking" reminded us all that we as a people are still learning, and have much to gain from understanding others. My eyes were streaming with tears as we gave her a standing ovation. Beautiful.
