New Appeal Bid By Matthew Shepard's Killer

Russell Henderson, one of the two men convicted of killing Matthew Shepard in 1999 has asked a federal court to reinstate his appeal.

Henderson is serving a double life prison sentence.

His attorney asked a US District Court in Cheyenne to allow Henderson to challenge the constitutionality of his conviction on the grounds that he had ineffective counsel.
