Richard A. Cohen (born 1952) is an author and anti-gay conversion therapist. He has been called one of America's leading practitioners of conversion therapy. Cohen gives lectures and runs seminars and workshops where he sells his books. Cohen's theories differ from mainstream medical views of sexual orientation. In fact, in 2002 Cohen was permanently expelled from the American Counseling Association, after it accused him of six violations of its ethics code.

Cohen lives in Washington, D.C. with his beard wife and their three children that hate his guts.

on edit: I did not mention that the proponents of the proposed Ugandan law that mandates death for gays quote Cohen's work directly and base some of their rationale on his "theories".
