Poll question: GLBT ONLY: Whenever there is a sex scandal, I check in with my glbt buddies
to see if they are as apathetic as I am. So do you care about the Tiger Woods Scandal?

1. I normally wouldn't care at all...
but Woods lives about 2 miles from me, so there's the local interest.

6. I absolutely do not care where Tiger Woods puts his penis.
The only sex scandals I find that I care about are those that come from the overly pious that espouse "family values" and "morality" as an excuse to justify their bigotry and deny equal rights to GLBT persons. It is quite enjoyable to see their hypocrisy exposed for the world to see. Schadenfreude doesn't get any better than that.

Otherwise, nah, I don't care. This latest scandal with Tiger Woods is a continuation of our celebrity worship culture which is an all too sad commentary on where we are as a nation. It's just not important in the grand scheme of things.

9. I don't care. Celebrities are known for risque lifestyles - why all the hubub over Tiger?
What gets me is the media are more concerned about Tiger's alleged indiscretions than those of the myriad "family values" politicians.

11. This is between Mr. Woods, Mrs. Woods, their respective lawyers, and the Nike corporation
I am inclined to say I couldn't care less about this steaming pile of "news", but so far I haven't been able to summon enough energy to investigate my true feelings.

12. I Am Interested Mostly....
because I love dish, but I do agree that in this case, enough is enough. Tiger seems not to be homophobic...I love to see homophobic assholes exposed as the hypocrites they are, but well, in this case, I'll just have to say that Tiger and his wife need to work this one out. Nuff said.

14. I Picked the Second Choice, But Being Gay Has Nothing to Do With How Bored I Am With This Story
I'm pretty sure I'd be just as bored with it if I were straight.

I am, however, delighted to know that there are people all across the country working tirelessly to preserve the sanctity of Tiger Woods' marriage by making it illegal for ME to have one.

15. i do think gays are generally less interested in other people's sex lives
i remember during the "burn elliot spitzer" edition on DU, we were noticeable less flammable than others :)

16. Perhaps.
I agree that we seem to be more tolerant of "sexual issues". However, I'd like to believe that if you stopped ten straight people on the street, and asked them if they had any interest in the Tiger Woods story, eight of them would honestly answer "no". I think this is just another case of the media forcing another non-story down America's throat.

18. My wife and I don't care about Tiger Woods
But only because Woods isn't a RRRWer who has designated himself the arbiter of others' morality, nor is he interfering in the lives of others and eradicating rights of people he doesn't even know under the guise of "pro-family" values. If he were we'd be all up in his shit exposing every dirty detail so the world could see his blinding hypocrisy.

19. Wait, why not hetero inclusive? That's....I don't understand the point.
Well I myself, don't really care too much. Though I'm pretty sure that's not related to me being LGBT, so much as that I'm not an avid follower and fan of Tiger Woods. I'm neither deeply into actors/actresses or sportpeople. Musicians is about the closest I get. And none of the musicians I really care about would ever be on TV all day about it, at least not American TV.

20. I'm the 12th person (13th?)... that is to say, I tamed the Tiger.
In all seriousness, no. I don't really care, although I do find it somewhat amusing that so many women keep coming forward. Although, I'd be lying if I said I didn't hope for a sex tape. >_>

21. It's interesting in a rubber-necking sort of way
When the train wreck is spectacular, it's difficult not to glance while going by. But I don't seek out news articles on it or read the associated threads on DU. I don't watch cable news at all, but I've heard it's really quite something.

22. Hell, if I can't get married in my state, I will always be interested and amused...
when straight marriages go bad like this. It really shows the stupidity of the anti-marriage equality arguments.
