Report: Iran Executes Another Gay Man

Another gay man has been executed in Iran - the third in the past month - a British newspaper reports.
The Observer reports that it has been been informed by underground Iranian activists that the latest execution occurred in the city of Arak on August 16.

On July 19 two gay teenagers were executed in the northeastern city of Mashhad. (story) The hangings sparked international outrage.

last year and the year before. And our dear leaders - I'm not American, but the Cheney junta doesn't just rule within the US borders - our dear leaders are no less cruel in pimping these facts to us now, just as they are conditioning us to believe Iran is evil and must be destroyed.

In June this year I took part in a Gay Pride parade here in Warsaw, which the right-wing salivating moron mayor of Warsaw banned (but only a week later he permitted a parade by violent, rabidly catholic nationalist proto-Nazis - mostly because he wants to be president, we have elections in two months). I think these executions in Iran are horrifying. I can't understand how one person may do this to another.

But it's equally horrifying to me that these news are being peddled right now. It's a perfect ploy to get left wingers behind the coming war on Iran.
