The transgender "thing"
We apparently don't play well with millions of conservative evangelical christians according to the head of some backward national spew organization....I was reading about Amanda SImpson's appointment and HUFPost had a quote from some jackass...

David Brody of Christian Broadcasting Network...

"The transgender thing doesn't play well with millions of conservative Evangelicals. ... I understand President Obama won't be after die hard conservative Evangelicals in 2012 but let's remember that moves like this don't play well with the million of conservative Independent voters and Catholics who will be up for grabs again in 2012 as well."

6. Then it is very unfortunate that Christianity is so big, but Christians
are so few. It's amazing how Christianity can survive with, what, 3 or 4 real Christians in the entire world?

Everyone else is constantly swearing that everyone else isn't really a Christian, which makes it odd. I wonder what religion all these millions of self-professed Christians have really been believing, endorsing and acting upon throughout their lives.

You would think with so few real Christians in the world Christianity somehow wouldn't be such a huge and influential historical force preaching bigotry. :eyes:

2. so we should only vote for people we like?
What about their political platforms? WHAT A NOVEL IDEA! We should vote for people who have the best message, not the best hair-do.

3. One of the most prominent republicans I bet anything
had a transgender change. All you have to do is look at the piece of crap and you can tell. They had breast implants - there is a picture of them selling lingerie and it is obvious. Most women who have them dint' care it it shows, but this person won't admit it. And the belly button is in the wrong place. The curves, even tho the person is skinny are not in the correct place, the hands are giantious and the arms have no female shape. They try to hide the face with that long stringy hair. And the older they get the more obvious it is. But the republicans have this person as their darling.

There is nothing wrong with having this operation. But most that do are not so out and out against gays and lesbians like this person is. But have you ever seen a republican yet that wasn't a hypocrite.

4. You know, if you're going to talk about Ann Coulter...
Edited on Wed Jan-06-10 10:08 AM by racaulk
...you could at least have the courage to refer to her by her name.

:eyes:

P.S. There is no such thing as a "transgender change," just FYI.

Edited for spelling and clarity.

5. And you would lose
Not to mention how insulting it is to every gender variant/non-conforming person on this board.

Being a prominant figure many would have liked to prove Ann was born a man. But knowing she was born on Dec 8th 1961 in NY, NY and grew up in New Cannen, CT etc. There would have been telltale markers in the records for anyone wishing to change genders during those years in records which knowing where to look are all too easy to find.

8. David Brody can kiss my shapely TG ass!
Actually, no, I wouldn't let him. But I would be happy to contribute to a fund to get him the lobotomy he is so obviously in need of.
