2. Someone Wanna Explain This To Me?
Who said every boy dreams of being a marine? I know plenty of straight boys who never had a desire to be a marine. And I know more than a few gay marines.

In what way is this a helpful sentiment?

3. Diversity vs gender stereotypes
I think the message is about Gender expectations. And pointing out that not every boy dreams of being a soldier or baseball player but might dream of being a ballerina or beauty pagent contestant. It's about breaking the gender binary and doesn't directly have any relation to "GLB" but is all about "T" issues.

5. Demonstrates (IMO) that some boys are, in fact, effeminate, and
that they should feel no shame about that, even though we live in a misogynistic culture that hates females and women.

6. I had pretty much the same thought.
It seems both illogical and kind of stereotyped.
