Let's play a game
If the economy was gangbusters/you had a job offer there, where would you move and why?

I've recently been playing this game, and I think about moving to Arizona, San Francisco, Denver - what about you?

1. if I wasn't tied to my house here for the next 3 years
because of the first-time homebuyer rebate?

Chicago or Seattle...or maybe central Florida somewhere to be closer to my parents.

2. anywhere on the left coast
where ever the climate is good for you.
AZ does have liberals, but we are far outnumbered by the elderly conservatives who move there from every where else.

:hi: I've been thinking about the same thing for ages. Though I wouldn't do it now. Not that I hate my life in New York that much, just feel really bored sometimes, you know what I mean?

On edit, I just realized, you must have left just a couple years before I came here.

5. I live in rural Mississippi....I'd move most anywhere if I had the choice!...When I was 19 (1973)
I desperately wanted to move to San Francisco or Aspen Colorado. Sadly I did neither and I'm sure I many missed golden opportunities. However, had I gone I never would have met my partner, who has been the very core of my heart for the last 20 years.

All things considered, playing the game is both fun and productive. Imagine what you want and then make it real. Wherever it takes you is where you're supposed to be-just enjoy the ride....

Chicago, Toronto, London, San Francisco. I like cities with a lot of character.

12. Tucson is my home but I can not find gainful employment there
working in seattle now ..... love the left coast but the rain and fog here in washington is too depressing so i go home Tucson about once a month .... so since I can not sell my house (way way under water) let one house go back to the bank all ready. I moved into my rental property (condo) and rent my remaining house for better cash flow. I was caught trying to upgrade homes ( i wanted a Ranch floor plan as my parents are getting older and they spend part of the winter there) when the market collapsed stuck with two and had to let one go.

so to answerer you question, yes Tucson is my home but I don't live there.

that's of decent size and relatively liberal. As long as the pay's good, I'm easy.

I'd only consider Vancouver.
