Milwaukee Mayor Calls Inquiry Into Gay Musical Bust

Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett has ordered an inquiry into the closing of the gay musical "Naked Boys Singing"
Police shut down the show, at the Milwaukee Gay Arts Center, last month (story) saying the center did not have a city theater license. But, the city later admitted it made a mistake. (story)

As a non profit facility the center is exempt from the license requirement.
