Online Banking?
I'm looking at finding a bank that does Online Banking so I can better keep track of my money. I am looking at Bank of America, but my fuzzy memory keeps telling me that they had some discrimination issues involving LGBT people. Can anyone recommend a Online Bank that is inclusive and doesn't have discriminatory policies? (One that they use and are happy with.)

1. On line banking may also let others keep track of your money

2. Online banking is just as secure as regular banking.
The problems banks (and other institutions) have with computer security have not much to do with whether the transaction is online or not. For example, most of the large security breaches (at banks and other institutions) of the past year had to do with losing backup tapes and nothing to do with online banking.

Your best bet is to choose a reputable bank who's services you like. Also, any bank with offices in California is, better because they're subject to California's privacy laws which are much tougher.

3. ...but I'm looking for...
...a bank that doesn't have anti-gay policies. I am wondering if Bank of America is one of those banks, and if not then where could I find one? I am not interested in doing business with folks who want to walk all over me. I'm going to spend and store my money with those who support my goals, my beliefs, my morals and my agenda. And if Bank of America isn't one of those places I intend to write them and inform them why I will not be doing business with them.

7. BOA: HRC Data and Political Orientation
Looks pretty good to me from a GLBTG perspective. The Buy Blue data is not always indicative of anything real, in my opinion, with a global corporation as large as BOA.

These data represent the best efforts of the Human Rights Campaign Foundation to track laws and policies that relate to sexual orientation and gender identity discrimination, and workplace same-sex benefits. Because of the proprietary nature of human resource information and because there is no centralized place where laws and policies must be reported, some entities that have inclusive policies for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender Americans may not appear. Also, while every effort is made to confirm the existence of these laws and policies, some may have been included in error. The information offered here is intended for educational purposes only. It does not constitute, and should not in any cases be regarded as or relied upon as, legal, or professional advice. If you require individualized legal advice, the Human Rights Campaign Foundation highly recommends that you consult an attorney.
