I'm perplexed. I know there are smarter people. Please help me understand.

When they take their families to a march or protest they are 'showing the love and commitment of the family'.
When we take our families to a march or protest we are 'showing them perversity'.

When they have their children walking around with hateful bigoted signs it's only because they care about the world their children will grow up in.
When we have our children walking around with signs that propose love and kindness we're told that we're confusing our children.

When politicians have 2, 3, 4 wives and countless mistresses they still feel the need to 'protect the sanctity of marriage' by denying it to loving and committed couples.

When groups can take out ads that blatantly lie it's protected by the first amendment, but when we try to counter with the truth we're shut out.

When we protest businesses that campaigned against us WE are the ones who are bigoted.

When they won a court case they praised the jurist who voted in their favor. When we win a court case it's collusion and judicial arrogance.

Am I missing something here? Do the bigots of the world truly not realize they are bigots? And, if that's the case, where can I purchase set of those rose colored glasses they all seem to wear?

When their children grow up, they will think their parents are ignorant dupes, and be embarrassed by being made to participate in their hate.

When your children grow up, they will know that with their parents they stood up for love and truth.

6. You hit the nail on the head ..Did you know

they did a survey and a lot of younger republicans are leaving the party. They said that their party should mean more than anti-abortion, hatred for gays and lesbians, love of corporations.

So maybe the younger generation is getting a lot smarter than their elders, do you hope. They must surf the internet a lot cause that is where you get the real news. That's why the corporations are not trying to take it over. They want to censure the real news there also.

They keep my cynicism in check. The children of conservatives love their parents, and still hold some conservative values, but when it comes to racism, homophobia and sexism, the vast majority of them ain't buying it -- the divisive fear appeals don't work on them.

I worked as a school nurse and had several parenting gays. One group had adopted orphans from Russia that had develomental disorders. They were to adopt just one but when they found out there were siblings, well......they ended up with three-2 boys and a girl.

I had an immense amount of respect for them and outside of the initial awkwardness of asking then about who to contact for an emergency (I asked for mom's name and number-oops), the dads were great parents as were the moms.

I seriously think that they are so blinded by their own hate and prejudice that for them gay = rough bareback anal in the windows of Macy's downtown.

Every time they see a schoolchild with a sign reading "I love my gay moms" it may as well be saying "I love rough bareback anal in the windows of Macy's downtown."

They're that ignorant and bigoted. :(

9. You see it's because their 'beliefs' are the correct ones according to their interpretation of

their god's words written down by man thousands of years ago. They have the inside track on all things moral and just.

Just no logic nor compassion nor empathy.
