I have this conservative cousin who tries to play the "moderate , tolerant , thinking Muslim" Shtick with me . When I post Cenks latest video on my facebook , I seem to have hit a nerve. I get this:

It's probably fair to say that we're experiencing a heyday for fundie Islam, but in centuries previous, just the opposite was true. Remember, the Islamic world was producing great mathematicians when the Christian world was busy eradicating witches.

Saying that you've met a lot of intolerant Muslims does not in and of itself strike me as Islamophobic.
