NOM Tour in Orlando...a tremendous fail

Aside from the few tour people and a couple paid security officers, I counted about 7 or 8 others attending. They chose to hold their 'rally' hiding inside the First Christian Church of Winter Park. Meanwhile, outside there were about 175 people carrying signs, chanting and peacefully protesting.

Contrary to their name the only thing they fight for is the denial of civil rights for GLBT persons.

That might mean that people who pay less attention to the news then I do haven't heard of them either.

9. Orlando has a quite large GLBT community

(And also a large Puerto Rican population, who tend to vote Dem as compared to many other Hispanics.) I know Winter Park is more conservative, but it's right next to Orlando, so the Epic Fail doesn't surprise me.
