just got back from an anti NOM protest

I parked a few blocks away so I was walking there in my tie die rainbow shirt and got called queer on the way. Pretty stunning. But made it the rest of the way there without incident. We had a permit from 11 to 1 for across the street from their protest (they were in a grassy park while we were on a sidewalk across them. In terms of numbers we were about twice to three times theirs. We couldn't hear them since we weren't permitted on their side of the street and their speakers were pretty pathetic. If I get any pics I will post them. Forgot to mention this was Raleigh NC. The protest was at the old capital.

Apparently Brian Brown's big quote from today, via Twitter, was "We need to let the government know where we stand". As if the government hasn't been hearing, and kowtowing to, their bigoted twaddle for years. :eyes: They need to realize where they "stand" is on the wrong side of history, and their time is over. They need to get real jobs now, like regular folk.
