This is an abuse of the martial arts. I wish there's some kind of a licensing board to approve of "martial arts" teachers. Otherwise, you get macho idiots like this guy.

Each and every time they got the worst of it. Each and every time. Usually more than one got carried out by their limping buddies. But always, they limp out in far worse shape than they went in.

And btw, changing the oil in the pickup or the Harley nekkid with your buddy is one kiiiiiiiinky little "mud" trip. I'll plead the Fifth :spank: :-)

I can honestly say he does not speak for me or the Martial Arts community. I am seriously hoping the ad's are spoofed by someone because this goes against EVERYTHING the martial arts stand for. Every martial arts school I've been to was completely focused on self defense, discipline, and physical fitness for kids and adults. To my knowledge, i have never seen a parent enroll their child into a martial arts facility to turn he or she straight.

Using the arts for personal gain, or bullying someone is not tolerated at all. Every instructor that i have met could give a rat's ass less about a student being GLBT. The end result is that they want the bullied to be able to defend themselves if the need ever arises.

I have advocated in this forum, and elsewhere on DU for people to learn some form of self defense as the intolerant are out there in droves. I do not want to see anyone go through what i went through as a kid. Bullying has far reaching psychological effects that lasts into adulthood. It nearly made me commit suicide.

I'm going to give this guy the benefit of the doubt for the time being. He says he has no knowledge of these ad's and they were not authorized by him. However, if it comes out in the wash that he did, he is NOT worthy of the rank of Black Belt and he should have his privileges revoked permanently.
