2. I used to be a mod in the LGBT Forum way back when

I'm pretty sure I haven't been the only gay mod over the years for the forum

3. There's a suspicion that we're under-represented there....

... and this results in multiple double standards re. things like , for instance: what discussion's allowed, what's not; who get's banned, who does not, etc.

More representation in the moderator ranks might tend to mitigate this sort of thing.

Ooops, on re-read: I'm not talking about a mod for this forum only. I'm talking about mods for the "big boards", like GD, GD-P, etc.

4. Hi. The mod set-up changed recently. We don't have designated mods for particular forums anymore.

We all moderate the whole website as a group (except for 9/11 and I/P). And now we all see the alerts from all the forums as they come in, not just our designated, assigned forum(s).

Yeah, we've some gay mods on board. :hi:
