This a very nice celebrity-filled clip (mostly) about bullying. But the really interesting moment happens at 0:55.

I didn't see anything really interesting at 0:55. Maybe it's a typo? Or maybe I'm blind?

It talks about why the LGBT homophobia is accepted and asks how are kids supposed to feel when they're told they can't serve the country, can't get married, can't donate blood...

source, then what are kids taught then, but simply the worst, which is "what MUST be wrong with Gay people that they're so gross that blood from them is not acceptable to be given to people who are dying in need of it!"

I think you need to define "gay people". It's not that simple...it's worse. Lesbians CAN donate blood, however anyone who "are a male who has had sexual contact with another male, even once, since 1977" or "have had sexual contact in the past 12 months with anyone described above" CANNOT! source...http://www.redcrossblood.org/donating-blood/eligibility-requirements/eligibility-criteria-topic

7. Recommended. That's a terrific video.

And I have to change my opinion of Cindy McCain. During the 2008 campaign, I thought of her as this snotty rich woman, nothing more. But she's become a pretty decent advocate for the GLBT community. I wish she and her daughter could change John McCain's mind on certain issues...like DADT repeal. But good for her and good for those celebrities who were in that video. I'm so glad the point was raised about gay guys not being able to give blood. It's just horribly, inexcusibly wrong.
