14. I really dislike your take on this. The wingnut demagogues have

a bundle of issues that they reliably shriek about, homosexuality being just one of those issues. There are other issues wingnut demagogues shriek about, environmentalism being one of those issues: they've been shrieking about environmentalists for decades and decades -- and they've often been paid well by polluters to do so. They're demagogues. Shrieking is what demagogues do. Their past behavior is probably a good indication of their future: and so, unfortunately, there's simply no evidence they'll stop shrieking about gays and lesbians

LGBT DU members (being among the smartest and most knowledgeable people on the planet) already know that

A: wingnuts shriek.
B: they have shrieked about gay folk and environmentalism for many years.
C: they are financed by polluters and other special interest groups. (The 12 DVD series alone shows that.)
D: shrieking is what demagogues do.
E: among any group, past behavior is probably a good indication of future behavior.
F: the post states "not replace" gays "but at least distract" from gays.
