It's over; Part 2
Edited on Mon Jul-25-11 02:32 PM by hedgehog
I posted a few weeks ago that the bishops had lost the war when it took them a page and a half single spaced letter to explain the "evil" of same sex marriage to the faithful.

I expect some bishops will aim to make things tough on Catholic politicians who voted in support of same-sex marriage.

I wonder if it will occur to the bishops to ask how many Catholics joyfully presided over same sex weddings yesterday? Seems to me a lot of those judges, mayors and clerks must have been Catholics.

1. That would matter only if Catholics listened to their bishops.
Oh, a few do; but most don't.

Still, I thank God that I'm an agnostic.

2. I'm not sure if we're on the same page - what I'm saying is that no one is listening to the bishops.
