(News Story Title:) Presbyterian Church to setup therapy centres for homosexual

<snip>Abetifi (E/R), Aug. 9, GNA - The Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG), is to establish therapy centres for homosexual victims for counselling and rehabilitation in the various communities.</snip> (misspelled words are theirs)

(the article also adds)<snip> He said though the probationers would face a lot of challenges in their operations, the Lord would deliver them from all their problems, if they rely on the lord and pray regularly. </snip>

Religious deprogramming centers for Ghana... the filthy terrorists can't accomplish it in the United States (and for you hating fuckers reading this.. it won't happen here, so eat shit)........ so they export their charlatan "Pray Away The Gay" bullshit to other vulnerable countries in search of fresh victims. These religious terrorists are vampires, looking for a sweet infusion of blood from new prey(pun intended).....

1. The Presbyterian Church USA (PCUSA) finally approved gay clergy in May 2011.

"All who are called to serve may now answer that calling, without regard to sexual orientation or marital status." This goes for clergy, deacons, elders, etc.

Up until May 2011, if you were gay or lesbian, you couldn't serve as ordained clergy or installed deacons or elders. Also, single or married, if you screwed around, you weren't allowed to serve.

At least "according to the rules". We all know that if you hid it well enough, or the congregation looked the other way, then it was possible to skirt the rules.

Maybe the Presbyterian Church of Ghana should take some lessons on acceptance. That being said, all Presbyterian churches are not created equal and each faction seems to have their own constitution.
