My mom was watching The Times of Harvey Milk tonight
Edited on Tue Aug-16-11 03:08 AM by vercetti2021
I obviously never seen it before but she has when it first came out, so i got curious and watched it with her. And in all honesty i believe this was the first step in real LGBT movements in the united states and he definitely had heart and balls to admit he was the first gay politician. But of course there is that one person who can't stand it, in which i mean Dan White. This piece of fucking shit that murdered not only Harvey but George Moscone as well for not giving his job back he quit? And only facing fucking manslaughter?! Seriously that was a bullshit conviction, and the people had every right to protest, but rioting was a bit much i think. Dan killed himself after he was released and gassed himself in his car, piece of garbage to the end.

It goes to show what right wingers in this current time are capable of now. There are more LGBT movements in america and its amazing that these good people have to go through such shit because they love their own sex. How about this righties, stay the fuck out of their business? I'm not gay but i will defend these people from the likes of you from being tormented like they are some sick creation. They are born like this!! Its not a fucking choice!! If God hated these people, then why does he keep putting them here? If my son or daughter was gay, i wouldn't care, i would still love them and support them. And if they ever got hurt by someone then that person would be in a lot of shit, and i know righties are teaching their kids the same thing they we're taught by their parents and its sad. Kids like that, like the one who shot that boy in class because he was gay! Yeah god sure is going to be so happy about that.

I fully support the LGBT movements in america and i stand by them. If Harvey was alive today, he would have been a good senator in Washington D.C. But i had to vent sorry. I rented Milk with Sean Penn from netflix so i can see more of it in a different aspect. I think it was classy of Obama to give him the Presidential Medal of Freedom in honor of what he did.

2. there's nothing like the sight
of upended police cruisers burning in the SF Civic Center plaza. White night, the battle at Elephant Walk, were hisoric, looking back. There was a deep sense of loss, as if robbed in the basest of ways

3. It's one of my favorite movies, ever. I cried through through it the first time I saw it.
I own a copy now and I don't own many movies.
