TN Pastor Who Ordered Attack on Gay Couple Arrested for Stealing

Pastor Jerry Pittman of Fruitland, Tennessee’s Grace Fellowship Church is headed to the slammer, y’all. You may remember him from news earlier in the week that he ordered his congregation to attack a gay couple that was attempting to come to church. Yeah, him.

<snip>

Not anymore. After receiving a tip from the good pastor’s estranged wife about him stealing from a local business to the tune of over $1000 (a copper scrapping yard, of all things), Jerry Pittman has been arrested and will face justice.

<snip>

This actually is not the first time Pittman has been arrested. Police said he was arrested back in 2006 for a simple assault charge.

“It was over an incident where the daughter and the boyfriend had a joint child,” Wilson said. “There were some accusations involving the father of the child, which was the boyfriend, and he confronted the father of his grandchild at a local grocery store.”

Jerry Pittman Jr. and Dustin Lee show off their battle scars from Pastor Pittman's attack on them.

4. Good grief, another crazy, freakazoid father in TN.
Having deacons beat up his son and his boyfriend. Seems to me the sheriff needs a little outside investigation.
