NJ: Garden State Equality Protest against Anti-Gay Teacher
JOIN US THIS TUESDAY IN PROTEST!

Garden State Equality will protest this Tuesday, October 18 at 6:30 pm at the next meeting of the Union Township School Board. It's your chance to tell the school board to take action against the Union High School teacher over her alleged Facebook remarks that ruthlessly bash LGBT people.

THIS TUESDAY at 6:30 pm, Union High School, 2350 North 3rd Street, Union Township, New Jersey.

The school board meeting starts at 7:00 pm, but please arrive no later than 6:30 pm for our news conference and then to get seats. PLEASE SHARE THIS POST ON YOUR FACEBOOK PAGE AND FORWARD IT TO YOUR FRIENDS' PAGES.

1. Kind of makes you appreciate the importance of being able to fire bad teachers quickly
And not have it become a "process", taking 2-6 years.

3. wanna bet that way, way, way more gay and pro gay teachers
would be fired under that scenario than anti gay ones.

I hope they take the school board to task, A person like this should not be teaching our Youth.

4. Yes, and we've approached the superintendent to do a presentation on anti-bullying.
And he flat out refused to listen to us. Seems to me the homophobia is institutionalized in this district.
