Civil union expo a sign of the times

When the fashion show started, men strolled arm in arm down the catwalk together. So did pairs of women -- sometimes both wearing dresses, other times with one in a dress and the other in a tuxedo.

The people in the crowd cheered as the models made their turns at the end of the runway.

In the room behind them, booths featured businesses selling floral arrangements, cakes and reception entertainment -- all the usual vendors found at any bridal expo.

Except this wasn't a bridal expo. It was the inaugural Delaware Civil Union Expo.
