In court, Porzio was tearful. She was ordered to stay away from that family restaurant, an institution on Route 1 in Saugus.
Porzio’s father maintained that Sweeney said something derogatory about his daughter’s sexuality, but claimed that she regretted throwing glasses at him.
“I think she had a little too much to drink. She’s guilty of that, but I think he enticed her,” said Porzio’s father.

Sweeney said he was approached by Porzio who told him she was offended by a comment he made concerning her sexuality. Porzio's father said Sweeney made derogatory remarks about her off stage, not during his comedy routine.
"He had approached the girls that she was with. And she had -- this is what she told me she said -- she had told him that 'Don't you think you're a little old to be' and then he made, that's when he made the sexual remark on her sexuality," Gene Porzio said.
