Future of Gay Soccer Player's Career Uncertain

Montreal Impact midfielder David Testo doesn't regret coming out last month even though his future as a soccer player hangs in the balance.

Testo announced last month he is gay; he tells the Los Angeles Times that the feedback he's received since has been overwhelmingly positive. But as the Impact prepares to join Major League Soccer, the U.S.-based professional soccer league, it' not clear if Testo will remain with the team.

While Testo was recently named MVP of the Impact, he hasn't played many games as of late. There's speculation that his coming out may encourage the Impact to cut him from the team.

1. if thats the only reason he get cut thats just sad.

I don't watch soccer So I have no idea who's doing what or whom.

But I'm glad he came out it will make it easier for the one's that follow.

I think I read something where he feels he's pretty much at the end of his career anyway and now was the time to announce it.
