Comics w/ gay themes attract young females - and bring out the Freepers

I saw this story this morning, and immediately found myself drawn into the debate. It's amazing that there can be such close-minded people out there, and that they don't see anything wrong with showing the world just how dense they are.

This thread is priceless, as it eventually starts running the gamut, covering everything from gays to illegal wiretaps to Hillary Clinton (described by one of the Freepers as a "dyke"). At one point one of these freepers even brings out the "I have Jewish & black friends" defense to prove they're not racist!

Going after these freepers is so much fun, it's just too easy. I love the whole "I don't hate gay people, they just disgust me with their gay butt-sex" argument.

It's also how they say "I just don't like when they shove their lifestyle in our face". It's like WTF? So just living our lives and fighting for equal protections is shoving it in your face? GLBT's are much more exposed to 'the straight lifestyle' being shoved in our face.

My post: I wonder why he feels so threatened by gays? Is he afraid they're going to burst into his house and rape him? To read all his postings about "disgusting gay sex", "butt sex", "cramming stuff down our throats", maybe he secretly fantasizes about being gang-banged by a group of gays.

Lister, have you ever seen the movie "American Beauty"? This guy reminds me of the homophobic neighbor.

Hey, if you're insulted by the term "conservative", then you have some issues of your won.

And no, I don't accept that apology, you only did it after you were called on it. Your many posts on this thread alone speak volumes. You obviously have this anger towards what you perceive as a "gay agenda", which really does not affect you in one single way.

BTW you dumb ass, I never said I was insulted by conservative, if you have not guessed or figured it out, and I doubt it, I am a Conservative, I think I said that once or twice in here, so why would I be insulted. I was just saying I have seen it used as an insult, but then again, you dumb ass liberals only see what you want to see and nothing more.
