1. I did the Boston to New york
AIDS ride 5 times and had a blast every time. That being said however, the BNYAR folded because of mis-management by the ride organizer and a large scandal about how much money raised actually went to the Health Centers in NY and Boston that were the beneficiaries. Perhaps you can find a better way to donate to these organizations? (Please, no flames - I support AIDS Services as much as I can - I just hate to see hard earned money NOT going to the causes you want it to go to)

3. I agree with you
just saying - perhaps a direct donation to the local GLBT Health cooperative might be a better use of one's dollars? When I did the AIDS ride they raised more than 6 million $$ but less than 1/2 went to the health centers - which is too bad (criminal??)

4. When I'm home on Mondays, and I remember, I have watched this on Logo.
What a great documentary series! I've really enjoyed it. It's really interesting to me to learn about these peoples' varied backgrounds, why they chose to participate in the ride, and their experiences. I highly recommend it to anyone. I just hope Logo repeats the series so I can catch the episodes I missed...
