Warring Gay Sports Groups Agree To Keep Talking
http://www.365gay.com/newscon05/02/021605gamesMeet.htm

Talks aimed at resolving the war of words between the Federation of Gay Games and the Gay and Lesbian International Sports Association have ended with only an agreement to keep a dialogue open.

The groups met in London in talks refereed by a professional facilitator. Representatives of some 50 other LGBT athletic organizations were also in attendance.

The GLISA was formed in the aftermath of Montreal pulling out of hosting the 2006 Gay Games. When Montreal organizers and the FGG could not agree on funding and who would have final control of preparations they quit the FGG and quickly set up their own competing games. (story)
