Romney Brings Anti-Gay Attacks To Utah
http://www.365gay.com/newscon05/02/022605romney.htm

isn't it nice that he's finally gone home

Continuing to test the waters for a 2008 GOP presidential run Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney seems intent on using his opposition to gay marriage as a bargaining chip.

Friday, a group of same-sex couples who legally married in Massachusetts delivered a letter to the governor condemning his attack on gay families earlier this week in South Carolina.

In a speech to Republican Party members in Spartanburg, Romney lambasted Massachusetts's highest court, which paved the way for gay marriage, accusing the justices of striking "a blow against the family.'' (story)

1. Isn't he
being what in the '60s was referred to as an "outside agitator?"
Coming in from elsewhere and starting trouble.

2. Well, actually he is from Utah
When his Dem opponents in Massachusetts pointed out that Romney had residence issues making it illegal for him to run for governor in Massachusetts, they were accused of sour grapes. I would criticize the people of Massachusetts for electing this jerk, but then I'm living in California with the Gropenator for governor.

seems to me that gay folk are going to have to take the fight to fundy churches directly.

other wise this witch hunt is going to get people hurt.
i.e. abortion doctor assinations -- can they be far behind?

ok i need to go back to school and learn how to spell -- sheesh.

4. Don't you mean MORE assinations of MDs?
I know they already murdered one doctor in a suburb of Buffalo, NY.

6. There's another thread about
a University of North Carolina being physically attacked by a group of young men because they thought the victim looked gay.

Wouldn't it be ironic if someone beat up Cheney's daughter for being gay? I don't know how she can live with herself. She campaigned for her father (probably because she likes living off the ill-gotten gains of taxpayers) so she is partly responsible for the anti-gay fervor being generated and tolerated by this administration.
