I'm watching law and order and this episode is about a fundamentalist mormon who murdered a woman who escaped the sect. Anyways, the detectives were talking to the leader who is clearly the killer, and he ends the conversation in a rude tone saying: "have a blessed day." Is THAT where that originated from? Everyone has been saying it on DU lately :rofl::rofl:

Sorry. I'm accustomed to getting whack-a-doodled up the head for mentioning "blessed day" is older than last year, so I was overly defensive. My sincere apologies. I need to lighten up around here.

Odd, too ... I was actually playing earlier today, but I'm in BG1 at the moment and haven't played a party with Edwin in awhile. I just installed the Big World mod with *every damn mod I could find* (OnEdit: I just checked, and it takes up 20 gigs of space) a few weeks ago and intend to take it through from beginning to end.

"Edwina" is awesome. I installed a mod with some expanded banters for all that and plan on getting him/her this time around.

Since we've already hijacked the thread, I'll go ahead and ask if you've ever played the Unfinished Business mod that has the quest for Minsc in which Boo is kidnapped? It's hilarious.

I haven't played in awhile, and I'm not familiar with the Big World mod. Is it new? What does it do? It's kind of academic anyway, since I have absolutely NO space left on my computer until I find a way to get all my music permanently transferred to my iPod. But I have been itching to play again.

16. Big World

It's not so much a mod itself as an attempt to bring together as many mods as possible so they can run together. It's ambitious and not without flaws (all mods have flaws of some sort) but it works pretty well. The chief contribution is a script that installs mods in the proper order automatically and a "fixpack" that fixes issues various mods have working together.

It's sort of like The Big Picture on steroids. Whereas that mod was an attempt to bring together BG1, BG2, the expansions, and all the "Megamods," Big World incorporates all that and as many of the other, smaller mods as can be made to work together.

13. "Have a blessed day" is a very common courtesy here in the south.

People even put it on their voice mail recordings and sig lines at work. There's no point in getting offended by it. I absolutely know that everyone who uses it is using it as an excuse to push their religious point of view - which is Protestant fundamentalist - but I don't care. I just smile and thank them.

Sometimes when I'm feeling mischievous I say "blessed be" in response.
