1. Not me, but I suggest

taking a look at the whole spectrum of analyses: ldl, hdl, triglycerides, etc. Then work out what circumstances would lead to that outcome; if those circumstances match your actual living, then you've got a lot to go on.

2. Thanks, poetGuy, but my cardiologist has given me quite

a few tests and so far no explanations. Apparently it is
not uncommon with elderly folks. Just rather difficult
to manage, at least for me....z

definitely beating the odds. My problem is basically
described in its title..just a high systolic...Hope your
brother continues to do well...thanks for replying.....z
