My Breakfast This Morning Will Consist Of One Gallon of.....

.....Colyte and anti nausea medication as I am now officially on a minimum 3 day fast awaiting colon surgery tomorrow... I have mixed some Crystal Lite and Hawaiian Punch to kill the awful salty taste...this makes 2 gallons this month...

YUM YUM....20 minuites till the drink fest begins.

3. that stuf is nasty

I had to drink a gallon of it before a colonoscopy. I could dilute it with Hawaiian Punch though because I wasn't supposed to eat or drink anything red several days before the procedure.

Good luck on your surgery and here's to a speedy recovery. :toast: < (not Colyte)

I Think The Cocktail of Anti Biotics Tonight Will...

...Send me over the top...I have to take 12 in 2 hours... The Hawaiian punch makes it tolerable and as far as red I will be chasing it with water for four hours after that then I can have broth and apple/white grape juices...and a cup of Starbucks if I like until tomorrow morning.

Thanks everyone.

6. Ooh, I hate all that stuff, including magnesium citrate,
which I call 'magnesium shitright.' But polyethylene glycol sounds so much worse -- sort of like a poly engine fluid.

7. Thinking about you. Surgery means the problem is being addressed.
I've had several. 1 Major.

9. You may want to check with your doctor about drinking anything red.
When I fasted for a colonsocopy I was told to avoid red jello or red drinks of any kind. Don't know if that applies to surgery. That said good luck and wishing you a speedy recovery.
