In the flap over San Francisco's proposed circumcision ban, one very important constituency hasn't been heard from: vain and aging people who might use a plastic surgery filler made of human baby foreskins.

I'm not kidding.

Once detached, that small piece of human apron tissue can perform all sorts of magic, including the repair of skin damaged by everything from burns to bunions to bad habits.

In his 1891 book, "The History of Circumcision," snipping crusader Dr. Peter Remondino wrote: "for skin-transplanting, there is nothing superior to the prepuce of a boy."

5. What right do they have to take my kid's foreskin? they should at least pay for it.
That would have been my thinking if my kids had been circumcised.

and why a baby's foreskin?
would the skin work as well if taken from someone older?

7. Quiet deals with hospitals after circumcision, most likely.
Like the Red Cross..you "donate" your blood, they SELL it, esp. the "blood factor" part which fetches a good price.

Considering the price of the cosmetics I wouldn't be surprised if there was a black market operating "farms" throughout the world.

the ingredient idebenone is made from foreskins. Used in many anti-aging products.
