I am definitely not a fan of Walgreens, for many, many reasons. (Serious comment.)

This, however, takes the cake. Giving away free toxins to those who can't afford them!

Really, Walgreens. How low can you go?

:sarcasm:

2. Well, they aren't really giving it away.
Walgreen's will bill the feds and the folks who own the drugs will continue to make a killing! The only question is what is in the shot that we can't live without?

Last time i had a flue shot the welt on my arm lasted for nine days and was a s big as a hamburger. Makes me wonder!

4. Can you prove your assertion in regard to Walgreens billing the Feds?

Your anecdote is just an anecdote. Oddly, I've never met anyone in real life who had any such an experience.

Hmmmmmm.

5. That is funny because the health department and my doctor were interested as well.
I could be rude to you but I won't. As far as the Walgreen's thing goes. I guess that after Tami flue and the * bots I have become very cynical. Either way the corporation that is Walgreen's will make up the cost that is 'giving free vaccines for free'. You can bet on that.

6. So you've made a claim, but you can't support it.
Got it.

10. Appears
to be a collaboration.

http://www.hr3590.com/health-care-programs/walgreens-and-hhs-offer-free-flu-shots.html

The Department of Health and Human Services, through Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, announced a partnership that it entered into with Walgreens, a union that will bring free flu vaccines to 350,000 uninsured Americans, or those who do not have the capacity to pay for flu vaccinations.

While the number of free flu vaccines is a mere fraction of the estimated 45 million uninsured Americans, it is nevertheless an effort that will go a long way. Walgreens has pledged to donate $10 million worth of vouchers for free flu shots, which will go to eligible uninsured and underserved Americans in 15 markets across the country.

...

*** We agree on the toxin opinion.

7. "flu" not "flue"
A flue is a duct, pipe, or chimney for conveying exhaust gases from a fireplace, furnace, water heater, boiler, or generator to the outdoors. In the United States, they are also known as vents and for boilers as breeching for water heaters and modern furnaces.

9. It's pretty simple, really

Walgreens buys a buttload of doses which are sold and administered to customers through the fall.

This late into the season, anyone who was going to pay for it has pretty much already gotten their shot, and the vaccine eventually expires.

So, they might as well unload the rest of the stock for free.
