His website is worthless. Please do not push this scumbag's crap on those who don't know any better. There is no excuse for it.

6. What is wrong with any of the links I have posted?
I just skimmed some links to grab in a hurry before I left for work today so I'm not saying these are his 'top 5 links' or anything, just a cross-section kind of example of what people can learn from visiting his website. And of course, there is always the danger of one good link leading you to another .... and another.

When you make a full-time job of debunking him, you are always bringing his website to the forefront for curious minds who don't know anything about him, and they will go 'hmmmm. . .' and CLICK.

I have been very awed by the huge piles of uncommon information he throws online on a continual basis. He is totally awesome, even if he is a bit extreme and radical in his way of expressing himself.

Never throw the baby out with the bathwater.
Never think we are already in the age of enlightenment and already know it all.

We are just barely beginning to learn through the scientific method that Life is waaaay more fabulous and mysterious than we can even imagine it is.

This is one of the greatest websites out there for bringing us the incredible new knowledge right at our fingertips.

Of course there is also the very old knowledge that is still ***TRUE*** as well.

Hey, HuckleB, thanks for the topic! ; )

Mike Adams is scum (as many people have shown you over the past few months, but you choose to ignore the evidence), and I've yet to read anything by him that is not FOS. I do not have to read even more to know the reality.

Stop trying to push this scumbag on others. It's not ok.

19. Y'see....

I don't think you are in a position to know what is and what isn't a progressive healthcare system. If you are accusing me of "screaming right-wing talking points", it is because, in a free-market system, you are forced to rejoice over really insignificant aspects of a program that is just one scam setting up the next one.

Free yourself from the free-market and then you'll be in a position to discuss valid public health strategies. I am truly sorry that you have to settle for crumbs but please don't pretend that you're 'dining at the Ritz'.

23. It would take me all night to pick apart this link, but it could be done.
I suppose people are either going to read directly from his website or they are not. He is certainly getting an inordinate amount of attention from his skeptics! I admit his presentation can be way over the top, which even I find kind of barfy sometimes. He is overly-passionate in his tone, I agree (not that I think that's a bad thing.) On every item pasted there on that link there are huge amounts of background information on the topcs being brought up there that people can research for themselves, either using the naturalnews.com website or finding the information elsewhere.

We are even arguing here that toilet water is no different than spring water? (How hopeless is that for a starting point?) The scientific studies on the nature of water will blow your mind, but you do not have to believe any such science exists and you do not have to look for any information on the topic if you would prefer not to have your mind blown.

Words, thoughts, negative energy, positive energy, vibration -- there are so many things about these concepts that we have barely begun to even realize yet. Water is one medium that we are learning from. It can teach us the things that we can't see otherwise. And it is being studied.

Human beings HAVE healed themselves. Children HAVE been vaccinated against their parents' will. (It doesn't sound like they are actually attacking him on fluoridation, anti-depressants for infants, our immune system, pregnancy as a disease, or hypnosis. They are just upset at his radical tone of voice. I call those types of arguments out as red herrings.)

Dead foods vs living foods= I'm with Mike. (Who among us can not know about this?)
Genetically-modified foods= People fight this debate because they are confusing our 'modifying foods for thousands of years' as the link contends, with what genetically-modified food really is: mixing genetic material from animals, toxic chemicals, insects (for cripes sake!) plants, funguses, jellyfish, (ETC!), and having these changes allowed to become contaminated with and inter-bred with what is found in nature and in conventional farming methods. We can't put that genie back into the bottle, no matter what the consequences are. Anyone educating themselves on the matter would not be so cavalier about it ever again. (And come on, how can they be comparing putting pesticides ON crops with genetically-modified foods? Not that I approve of pesticides.)

If this health forum is about debating real topics, and I mean the health forum here on DU, why shouldn't we learn about the topics we want to debate on, and look at the NEW information that is out there in the world, and take into account we don't know it all yet, otherwise there would be nothing to debate. Even the skeptics may have to learn something that changes their opinion once in awhile. (Could happen!)

It was not that long ago in human history we believed the Earth was flat, that drawing blood by leeching would cure us of disease, that burning witches at the stake would protect us from their evil powers. The very first hand-held calculator was invented in my day, who would have imagined computers and cell phones?

Do we think only Big Pharma can tell us what we need to know?

I am not trying to fool people. I really believe what I believe. You like my term red-herring, do you? Well, let's agree to have a debate on the topics at hand, here, and you know we can debate Mike Adams The Person, which of course was what this thread is supposed to be about, or we can take any of the more interesting items thrown in the mix by the debunker-link and discuss one topic at a time, with some research and some links.

We all have a lot to learn.

Maybe the topic of "water" would be a terrific one to start with. I may not go on with this tonite because my mind is tired from this having been a weekday.

32. Look, I am not lying, I do not know what the 11-minute difference means.
I believe this is a "discussion" board. Disagreeing with your OP derails the topic?

I maintain that I posted my topic, then clicked on it to read it over again, and then when I went back to the thread there was your reply, and in MY MIND, over here in MY UNIVERSE, I had to post back at you because I went, "Hmmm, there is a response to the post I just made already." That means that you didn't read the post before you posted.

You have to address the topic in order to have a discussion. You can claim I have "Attacked" you here (!) I have "Derailed" the topic, "Made Excuses," and "Pretended" and none of those things here are true.

Are there any items in the topic that you DO want to discuss?
