What are the thoughts on HHS/US Government web site that
supports abstinence only sex ed. as well as misleading info on condoms.

www.4parents.gov

Yes, a .gov web site tax payer supported published by a group that is definitely not mainstream science.

What can we at DU do?

1. What's even more disgusting is that in many DHS offices....
are two posters.

One depicts a smiling white couple with a caption saying that they have decided to abstain.

The other depicts a frowning, black single mother, with a caption saying that she wishes she would have waited.

Not so overt racism.

2. DU? How about the damn AMA?
Instead of being a one-issue organization (medical malpractice), they need to get their act together and start making public statements supporting science/medicine. This is just one more example of why many physicians are now questioning the money they send to the AMA when the AMA doesn't have the guts to stand up for science/medicine.
