I cannot believe I am still not smoking.
I guess I got a jump on the New Year's resolution thing.

I don't know why it's so hard for me to believe it, but it's true. I have lost count of the days now, but it's been over three weeks since I last smoked. Sometimes, I get that craving, but it passes pretty quickly and it's no big deal.

I never thought I could do it. But I did it!

You have passed a major hurdle!

I think someone said just resolve to do it one day at a time...

That was maybe what did it?

Anyway CONGRATS!

16. I think I would have gone back to smoking if not for......
e-cigarettes. They take the place of smoking, without all of the bad crap that smoking entails.

5. Quitting is very easy; I have no idea why so many people find it hard
STAYING quit... now that is a different story entirely.

You can do it.

6. You've done it
Sounds like you did it the same way I did it - one day I noticed I had run out of cigarettes and forgot to get more. I never smoked again, and it was a whole lot of years ago.

I always said "smoking quit me," since I made absolutely no effort to quit, hadn't even planned to quit. I was just too lazy to go buy smokes.

Congratulations. Your Christmas gift came early. You're gonna feel so much better, food's gonna taste so good. Wonderful.

13. Well done.
Remember, when you are feeling down DO NOT console yourself with a cigarette.
This will turn into you smoking again.
You are now a recovering "Nickaholic". Stay good.
Cheers

15. Congratulations!
I remember how hard it was. Worst 2 weeks of my life!! I will be "clean" for 5 years on January 27, 2009. At first, I thought of myself as an ex-smoker and counted in days.

Now, I'm a non-smoker and can taste and smell things better than I ever did (I started smoking when I was 15, quit at 34)

You should be very, very proud of your accomplishment. Keep up the good work!!
