11. at that price, it's cheap
I would have expected a higher charge, considering that the chambers are expensive. $50/half hour is not a scam.

5. Was asking if anybody had experience with it.
I was at the bank today and saw a billboard advertising it. I called and it was a chiropractor selling it for $50/ half hour treatment. I have read all the internet data, but was asking for personal experience for validation.

13. never trust the advice of chiropractors
Only go for it if a real doctor recommends it. Chiropractors are quacks.

My lower back was a mess! I had pain upon sleeping, pain upon getting up, pain during the day. My doctor's solution was schedule me for tests, and prescribe pain killers, Ibuprofen and up. A chiropractor treated me (24 visits), and slowly the pain went away. I no longer have the pain. I'm so glad I went to him.

without the supervision of a real doctor--NOT a chiropractor.

8. Good when it's needed
Useless when it's not.

For a while it was in vogue for rich drunks who wanted to sober up fast.

It didn't work.

9. LOL!
on the rich drunks.

There's a long-running diving study here.

Periodically you can see people around town with T-Shirts that say how far "down" in so many feet they've been in the chamber. :-)

14. I have a step-niece who had brain damage from suffocation when she was
a baby who benefited from the therapy greatly. She did better and better on tests each time she had therapy until the last time when it stopped working.

I also talked to a Geriatric Medicine Physician about the therapy helping dementia patients and he said he had a friend in Florida who is experimenting with it on dementia patients.
