"Vaccine book brings out hidden support: Author"...
http://www.canada.com/health/Vaccine+book+brings+hidden+support+Author/1301769/story.html

"It's actually been exactly the opposite of what I would have guessed," Offit said in an interview.

One mother of an 8-year-old autistic boy wrote: "It really angers me when I hear others vilify you."

Another example: "I am a very unpopular mother at my children's school as I do advocate that children need to get their shots," writes the mother of a 10-year-old boy with autism.

"I would rather deal with autism (even though some days I go bananas) than bury a child to a disease that could have been prevented."

1. Thanks for that. Here's the bottom line on this:
"Last week a special U.S. federal vaccine court ruled against three families who claimed vaccines caused autism in their children. Offit hopes the ruling, on top of dozens of scientific reports, may reassure parents whose fears about vaccines have caused a plunge in vaccination rates in developed countries.

As a result, childhood illnesses like measles are making a comeback. More than 1,300 measles cases were reported in England and Wales in 2008, and 197,000 people died globally from measles."

The fruits of the vaccines-cause-autism crowd are literally the deaths of thousands, while at the same time, not a single person with autism has been helped, and there's no way to prove that a single case of potential autism has been stymied by withholding vaccines from children.

3. what burns my ass about the vaccines are evil crowd
my grand parents greatest fear was that my parents would die from those diseases that i have been vaccinated for. my parents biggest fear in the 50`s was polio but by the time i was 7 jonas salk developed the vaccine. i did not have to worry about my children ever getting the diseases of their ancestors.

the worse thing society can do is not immunize the population against communicable diseases.

9. My friend told me something his grandmother said once:
In a conversation with my friend's mother about having children, the grandmother said "You're so lucky you won't have to bury your children." And that sums up why fighting childhood disease with ALL our available tools is so important.

5. There is nothing wrong with vaccines.
My family have had many.

But just like all things to do with human health, quality and non-toxicity must be watched and regulated.

Non-regulation will kill in all things, especially with people just in it for the money - such as big pharma, bankers, traders, ponzi-schemers, etc.
