10. There are a lot of really misinformational sites out there

I am heading to a part of the world that has been hit hard later this winter and have read extensively. H1N! is very serious, not so much because the existing genetic variant is that bad, but because of how easily is spreads and how easily it encorporates new genetic material.

They (who, other scientific orgs) came out pretty strong, and it may turn out that this fizzles out, but it will not be because it was not a dangerous situation, it may be that people became aware enough that the threat is reduced, or it may be that we got lucky. Along with what is going on in the general public they have been watching very carefully the mutations.

H1N5 is now emerging, which is made of 5 different species' genes. That is a very dangerous combinant. It could die off, or, it could become the major strain next year, if it does, it could be a LOT more deadly than this year's virus.

What they are really trying to do, I believe, is they are trying to gut punch it, BEFORE it get's to it's truly dangerous form. If they are successful, it could look to the casual observer like it was all hype. But in reality, they could have saved millions in future deaths by nipping it in the bud.

H1N5 isn't this year's swine flu, it's 2005's bird flu. seems like you've been reading scare sites.

so if H1N1 has only killed 4,000 since April and the normal seasonal flu kills 36,000 annual how is that an epidemic? Is seasonal flu ever referred to as an epidemic?

I've never heard so much frothing at the mouth fear-mongering from the CORPORATE media in my life. It's a bunch of BS to get people to go out and get a mercury laced "vaccine" that will have bad long term affects. Gotta keep the big-cancer and big-pharma trains a runnin.

Don't get a vaccine if you don't want to.

Don't take any drugs if you don't want to.

But don't try to deny others our BASIC HUMAN RIGHY to access to modern medicine.

As a taxpayer, I am happy to put even more money into ensuring access to this most precious of basic human rights to myself and others who are medically vulnerable (but I suppose you think it's all our fault for being weaklings and that we must be eating a bad diet, and as far as you're concerned, let the medically vulnerable eat cake, er, I mean eat a Better Diet). Much better investment of resources than endless wars, or tax cuts for the rich.

5. actually it is very serious. They are afraid of the future mutations, and trying to stop it early

the trouble is that it is hard to explain to people who live in the moment why this strain is so dangerous. Each year it mutates. Next year will be a mix of H1N1 and H1N5. It is the incredible ability to jump from host to host and how quickly it can encorporate dna from the new host that has them worried.


We are such sceptics. Do we really believe that the world health organization is trying to stir unnescessary fear? And entire organization of physicians and scientists dedicated to world health and they have nothing better to do than scare everyone?
