It takes about 15 minutes but the flavonoids and antioxidants do their thing. You can get much the same results with red wine, tea, cranberries, peanuts, strawberries and apples but I love dark chocolate. I'm 5ft 4 and weigh 118 pounds.

Also lowers blood pressure. Go ahead and "Google" dark chocolate!

10. I'm not certain they are sleep issues as I nap frequently during the day
but I sure have the pain issues even with 2 hips and a knee replacement. Some 20 years ago I broke my right shoulder in 3 places and I'm sure paying for it now.

In my estimation - the "golden years" ain't. So, I really appreciate the benefits of dark chocolate

11. My mother-in-law used
to say "old age is not for sissies". Now that I'm 72, do know she was right. I eat dark chocolate before bedtime.

boxes of See's at the office this time of year. I can eat so much I feel ill.

See's is definitely superior to Russell Stover. They have a good web site where you can see all the glorious wares.

16. i developed a taste for dark chocolate because i was the 6th of 7 kids.
when my aunt would come to visit, she would bring a big box of fanny may fruit and nut. the last ones to go would be the dark chocolate candied citrus peel. no one wanted them. i just was so used to eating the leftovers. i ate them. i found out they were good.
maybe it has something to do with getting old, or fooling myself about the healthiness of my food habits, but i can barely stand milk chocolate any more.

18. Dark chocolate is the best!
It's the only kind I'll eat. My favorite is Lindt dark chocolate bonbons-- you know, the orbs wrapped in blue metallic wrapping.
