Sodium Fluoride is Toxic - Are There Still People Who Believe Otherwise?
Sodium Fluoride is toxic and there is not one shred of evidence that shows that it helps your teeth or bones. On the contrary, there is evidence that shows that it is harmful to your body.
And lethal at about 4g.

How can we move forward and demand that the government stop adding it to our water supply when there are still people out there who don't even know its toxic?

The source that is added to the drinking water is an industrial waste byproduct.

I mean, a quick google search will give you that info.

I was just thinking about, how many of us males would do it if we had the choice.

14. It's a minor thing to an infant with poorly established pain pathways
and a terrible surgery for anyone out of infancy. That's why they do it to babies.

At least we finally got the docs to use topical anesthetic on the kiddo.

It's also the parent's choice, not yours.

"They" circumcise babies because of ignorance and religion, not because they're babies. And they only do it to babies because REAL people (adults) wouldn't allow it, not because it doesn't hurt as much, which is, of course, total bullshit.

3. Oh No. Is this back again? You're probably too young to even
remember cavities. My children, in their 40's, have none. Elderly people used to die from malnutrition because they didn't have enough healthy teeth in their mouths to chew. People in developing countries still do. Please find another hobby.

6. The problem isn't the Flouride. It's the dihydrogen monoxide.
Edited on Tue Jan-19-10 01:38 PM by Ian David
Dihydrogen Monoxide (DHMO) is a colorless and odorless chemical compound, also referred to by some as Dihydrogen Oxide, Hydrogen Hydroxide, Hydronium Hydroxide, or simply Hydric acid. Its basis is the highly reactive hydroxyl radical, a species shown to mutate DNA, denature proteins, disrupt cell membranes, and chemically alter critical neurotransmitters. The atomic components of DHMO are found in a number of caustic, explosive and poisonous compounds such as Sulfuric Acid, Nitroglycerine and Ethyl Alcohol.

Ripper: Mandrake. Mandrake, have you never wondered why I drink only distilled water, or rain water, and only pure-grain alcohol?

Mandrake: Well, it did occur to me, Jack, yes.

Ripper: Have you ever heard of a thing called fluoridation. Fluoridation of water?

Mandrake: Uh? Yes, I-I have heard of that, Jack, yes. Yes.

Ripper: Well, do you know what it is?

Mandrake: No, no I don't know what it is, no.

Ripper: Do you realize that fluoridation is the most monstrously conceived and dangerous Communist plot we have ever had to face?

45. Do you know what your third site is?
It is the Journal of the American Association of Physicians and Surgeons, who describe themselves as the 'voice of doctors against government medicine'.

Undoubtedly, they are against fluoridation because they are opposed to ANY government-regulated health measures.

Their website is full of vicious propaganda against universal health care. They were also activists against the Clintons' attempts at healthcare reform in the 1990s. And going back yet further - against FDR's and Truman's attempts to introduce health care in the 40s. They have consistently opposed *any* government-sponsored health care programmes, including Medicare and Medicaid.

They were also involved in spreading various right-wing medical myths, including the theory that abortion causes breast cancer, and that undocumented immigrants are responsible for the spread of leprosy.

According to Wikipedia's entry on them (yes, it's Wikipedia, but they link to direct sources):

'The AAPS has characterized the effects of the Social Security Act of 1965, which established Medicare and Medicaid, as "evil" and "immoral",<11> and encouraged member physicians to refuse to accept or participate in Medicare and Medicaid.<12><13> AAPS argues that individuals have a right to purchase medical care, that there is no right to medical care, and that a government-mandated entitlement to medical care is unconstitutional and immoral; hence they oppose efforts to implement a national health plan.<14> ... Other procedures that AAPS opposes include abortion<16> and over-the-counter access to emergency contraception.<17>

The organization's Resolution 2001-2 stated that AAPS resolved to "promote the immediate repeal of all laws, regulations, and policies that allow direct or de facto supervision or control over the practice of medicine by federal officers or employees"<18>....

Articles and commentaries published in (their)journal have argued:

that abortion causes preterm birth later in life, and thus birth defects such as cerebral palsy to future children born to women with a history of abortion,<32>
that the Food and Drug Administration and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services are unconstitutional,<33>
that "humanists" have conspired to replace the "creation religion of Jehovah" with evolution,<34>
that increased carbon dioxide in the atmosphere has not caused global warming,<35>
that HIV does not cause AIDS,<36><37>
that the "gay male lifestyle" shortens life expectancy by 20 years.<38>

In other words, they are monsters of pure indescribable right-wing evil, obsessed with protecting their own profits and spreading all forms of vicious right-wing myth, whose opinions cannot be relied on for ANYTHING!
