There is no Justice!!
What kind of Justice system do we have in this country? If somebody would have told me what was going to happen to me, I would not have believed them, I would have thought they were crazy.

First of all, I was arrested for something I was completely innocent of, something which I had no idea of what was happening. The police were after a family member and got me instead. They made up evidence and are lying through their teeth.

My so called lawyer said this kind of stuff happens all the time and that they are using me as "leverage" to get to my family member. He also said that I can't even see the false evidence they are using and I should plead to something I didn't do so this will be over quicker. They also impounded my car and my lawyer said it would be given back in a few days, well it is two weeks now and nothing has happened. My lawyer is out of his office and will not be back until May 5th.

I thought the courts' job is to seek the truth, not just pile up as many guilty pleas or verdicts as they can. My life has completely changed because of this, I will never look at things the same again. I am outraged and don't know where to turn or what to do, I can't even trust my own lawyer. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!

1. I'm so sorry that's happening to you --
and I fear it happens all the time.

I haven't believed in our 'justice' system for a long time.

I'm so sorry.

How about the ACLU??

5. Thank you...
for your kind words and like I said, I no longer have ANY faith in our justice system. Does the ACLU handle stuff like this?

2. I've been where you are
And my advice is to get a better lawyer. You want one who will be proactive in debunking all the stuff the police are presenting, and getting the evidence against you released. You probably won't be out of the woods at that point, though. They may claim you knew about what your relative supposedly did, and thus are an accomplice.

Get a f***ing shark for a lawyer- ruthless and bloodthirsty. The only better thing you can do is bribe the judge- that's what the person who took me to court did.

4. How do you find...
a shark or at least someone you can trust? My current lawyer has wiped me out already and did absolutely nothing for me, he wouldn't even postpone my hearing so I could see this so called evidence because he had another one on the same day with me and I guess he thought he would kill two birds with one stone.

6. That I can't help you with
Try to get a referal from a friend you trust to a lawyer they trust. Even if they don't practice the kind of law you do, they have friends among their peers, and they know who does their job well. Good luck.

3. You are mistaken.
"I thought the courts' job is to seek the truth,..."

It is to present their facts that proves you guilty.

It is your lawyers job to refute those facts, present alternate facts, that prove you are innocent.

The TRUTH lies in between guilt and innocence.

My suggestion:

Get a new lawyer or don't drop the soap.

7. My lawyer has done...
absolutely nothing for me, he took the money and ran. He was supposed to send a fax to the DA to get my car released, It was already arrainged, well its been three weeks now and he still hasn't taken the five minutes out of his time to do it, and I am still without my car. I have called him about 50 times and he has returned ONE of them. So he can kiss my ass once I get my car back!!

And as far as refuting the so called evidence, he hasn't even let me know what the evidence is, so how can you fight something when you don't even know what you are fighting? Like I said, if I was told that this could happen to someone I would have thought they were crazy!!

8. I deeply regret you had to learn that the 'justice' system is broken in this manner
Finding a knowledgeable and aggressive defense lawyer is the best advice.
