According to the complaint, White, who was arrested Nov. 5 on misdemeanor charges of obstructing official business and criminal trespass, was being released from custody that same day when he stated “that the deputy’s problem with him was ‘Barack Obama.’”
“Deputy John Doe completely and purposefully went around the desk and stated, ‘Don’t you say that name again,’” the complaint said. “Plaintiff stated: ‘You can’t keep me from saying Barack Obama.’”
The complaint stated that White said the name again and that the deputy “threw
against the jail wall and grabbed him by the seat of his pants and threw him into a holding cell and locked the door where remained for approximately two hours.”
