Possibly another reason why Repukes hope Bloggo stays in power?

Okay, so it's well known that Repukes want Bloggo to stay in power ... to be the Republican poster boy to keep pointing out how "corrupt" the Dems are.

However, there may be another reason ...

If Bloggo had to go, being under suspicion of illegal/immoral acts or ethical lapses, then when a Repuke gets hit with real investigations, they can point to Bloggo being still in office ... and thus, they would escape having to be run out of town ...
