Barry Bonds Gets Justice, In and Out of the Courtroom

A federal judge has denied Barry Bonds' petition to dismiss his criminal conviction for obstruction of justice in connection with a steroid investigation.

The best thing that could happen to baseball would be to forget Barry Bonds ever played the game. The same goes for Jose Canseco, Mark McGwire, Roger Clemens and all the other players caught up in the did-he-or-didn't-he steroid controversies of the late 1990s and early 2000s. These people are a disgrace to the game. Their home run records should be stricken - an asterisk is too good for them; it's an insult to Roger Maris.
