What about the President's veto power? |

I know this isn't a new thought, although it just now hit me. Am I wrong in saying that eliminating the filibuster in the Senate would be the same as taking the veto from the President? How would the little monkey like that?

1. The Veto Power is set forth in the Constitution |

The Filibuster is NOT, it is a Senate Rule. Now the US Constitution gives sole control over the Senate's Rules to the Senate, but the Senate could abolish the Filibuster any time it wants (and get around a Filibuster).
